Common questions
Before you begin
Am I a candidate for ketamine therapy?
Every patient completes a comprehensive screening and medical intake with our physician before any treatment is scheduled.
Does insurance cover treatment?
It depends on the treatment. Spravato®, psychiatry, and psychotherapy are covered by many major plans, and we verify your benefits up front so there are no surprises. Ketamine therapy is currently self-pay, though we provide itemized superbills you can submit to your insurer for possible reimbursement, and financing is available.
How many treatments will I need?
It varies by person. We typically recommend two initial sessions to assess response and adjust dosing, then build the rest of the plan around your progress.
Is ketamine therapy safe?
Ketamine has a long track record in medical settings when administered and monitored by trained clinicians. Every patient is medically screened first, every session is supervised by our clinical team, and you are monitored throughout. Like any medical treatment, it carries risks, which your physician will review with you in detail before you decide anything.
Can I do this work without medication?
Yes. Breathwork, mindfulness, and other non-drug practices can support deep emotional processing on their own, and many patients begin there. If a medication-based path ever makes sense, that conversation happens with a physician.
